In January 2016 the Swedish Bar Association established the Board of Consumer Dispute (Sw: Konsumenttvistnämnden) to which you as a consumer may turn if a dispute should arise between you and the law firm retained. The term consumer is defined as a physical person acting for purposes other than business or professional purposes. A prerequisite for lodging a complaint with the Board of Consumer Dispute is that you have first contacted your law firm to try to find an amical solution to your claim.
